This is the home page of MA30055: Introduction to Topology taught by Fran Burstall.

Exercise sheets

All exercise sheets are available in DVI, PostScript and PDF formats:

Exercise sheet 0 with solutions as DVI, PostScript or PDF.
Exercise sheet 1 with solutions as DVI, PostScript or PDF.
Exercise sheet 2 with solutions as DVI, PostScript or PDF.
Exercise sheet 3 with solutions as DVI, PostScript or PDF.
Exercise sheet 4 with solutions as DVI, PostScript or PDF.
Exercise sheet 5 with solutions as DVI, PostScript or PDF.
Exercise sheet 6 with solutions as DVI, PostScript or PDF.
Exercise sheet 7 with solutions as PostScript or PDF (no DVI because of included graphics).
Exercise sheet 8 with solutions as PostScript or PDF (no DVI because of included graphics).

If you have problems printing these sheets, send me mail describing what you were trying to print, what browser (Netscape, Internet Explorer?) and operating system you were using (PC or UNIX?) and what went wrong.

Past exam papers

Here is a couple of past examination papers. More may become available if I can face re-keying them.

The 2002 MATH0055 exam as DVI, PostScript or PDF.
Solutions are available in the Academic Reserve Collection of the Library: ask for OFFP 000-0220.
The 2001 MATH0055 exam as DVI, PostScript or PDF.
