Buying wine online is always good fun. From the comfort of your computer you can browse more wines than ever!
However, this additional comfort comes at the cost of a postage charge. This postage charge usually costs about a bottle of wine, and probably kills orders of less than a case. That said there are usually a pelethora of deals available to you as the various suppliers fall over each other for your business. Particularly so for first time buyers!
When it comes to buying online ALWAYS search around the internet for deals and voucher codes. Laithwaites in particular, has several £20 off vouchers about at any one time.

Oddbins
Sadly, Oddbins in Bath is no more, however all is not lost! Oddbins have an excellent website and a very good selection of wines. Postage is £4.99 for 12 or more bottles, and £6.99 for 1-11 bottles
Laithwaites
Laithwaites is always great for vouchers, they also do some extremely good case deals! Postage is £5.99
Tanners Wines

For those of you that appreciate a more expensive bottle, and have enough money in the budget. Tanners wines is one of the best places to get it online. Their bin end list is well worth a look, but you need to get your order early. Postage is free over £80
The Wine Society
Founded in 1874, The Wine Society aims to introduce members to the best of the world's vineyards at a fair price. A lifetime membership costs £40. Postage is free over £75

If you are a fan of South African wine then I would highly reccomend this site. They have on offer a very extensive number of South African producers. Not to mention £10 off your first order.
Virgin Wine
Part of the ever expanding Virgin empire, they have some excellent novel ideas when it comes to selling wine. Not to mention plenty of vouchers about!
