Activities
We have organised two social activities at this year's event (see below). You will need to sign up for a specific time slot for the tower tour by completing the local registration form.The two social events (and the times, for which you can sign up) are as follows:
Festive Tower Tour and Christmas Market
The Bath Abbey Tower tour lasts up to 40 minutes. There are 212 steps to climb in total; 120 take you to the ringing room, and a further 92 will get you to the top where you will have the most amazing views of Bath. You will also be rewarded for reaching the top with a mulled wine or hot chocolate. Details hereTickets cost £6 per person per tour and can be purchased from the Orange Grove entrance of Bath Abbey (max 25 students per tour). Tours reserved for NWERC competitors take place at 3pm, 3.45pm, 4.30pm, 5.15pm and 6pm. You are then ideally placed to enjoy the Bath Christmas Market.
Pub Quiz (free)
3pm – 5pm Fountain Café University of BathTest your knowledge, relax over a drink and have fun while you attempt to become our quiz champion.
The quiz will take place in the Fountain Café at the University of Bath.
