First base
From the creator of xkcd, it's... What if? The first one in particular is great, explaining the giant ball of fiery plasma that would engulf a baseball batter trying to hit a ball pitched at nine tenths the speed of light.

"A careful reading of official Major League Baseball Rule 6.08(b) suggests that in this situation, the batter would be considered "hit by pitch", and would be eligible to advance to first base."
