Chocolate chip cookies!
Based on this... very nice they are too, if I may say so myself!

1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1.5 tablespoons drinking chocolate
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon golden syrup
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Makes about 16.

Preheat the oven to 190C. Beat together butter and sugar, then egg, vanilla and golden syrup. Stir in the flour, baking powder and drinking chocolate, and finally the chocolate chips. Scoop out small balls of mixture and place on baking tray lined with greaseproof paper, flattening slightly as you do so. Bake for 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to cool for 2 minutes, then remove from the tray.

No. The tray I made them on wasn't big enough, which meant that after expansion in the oven the set of cookie percolated over the set of tray, resulting in oddly-shaped cookies. So they didn't look great (but they tasted nice).
