Movie Night - A Beautiful Mind - 4.30pm

The event will take place in 8W 2.28.

Please email the committee (siamsc@lists.bath.ac.uk) if you are planning to attend so we can make sure there's enough drinks and nibbles for everyone!

Past activities

• The University of Bath SIAM-IMA Student Chapter hosted the UKIE SIAM National Student Chapter Conference 2018, on 18-19 June 2018.

• We held the first annual Bath SIAM-IMA Student Conference on Wednesday 1st March 2017. This local student conference featured talks and posters from a diverse range of students in mathematics and its applications, alongside plenary talks from two experienced researchers.
  
  
• Meet a PhD in Mathematical sciences, on Monday 21st November 2016, was a chance for undergraduate and masters students to chat to current mathematics PhD students and ask any questions about doing a PhD, from how to find a place to what it's really like to do research.
  
  
• On Thursday 6th October 2016, we held drinks at The Griffin to welcome new members and introduce the new committee.
