| Full 3D analysis of CCTV camera visuals, including camera lens
specifications, line of sight ray-tracing calculations, clash detection and
resolution calculations. Next phase planned to incorporate genetic algorithms to
automatically optimise placement and use a distributed computing grid to speed
up calculations. |
My Role : |

- Create entire application in Visual C++ using Windows and OpenGL, including graphical pre- and post-processor and interface with CAD
- Train end-users and respond to feedback to improve functionality and usability
- Develop proof-of-concept system for distributed computing calculation solution
- Validate optical calculations by benchmarking against controlled field-tests
