New enclosure to house a historic boat in an existing dry dock
The structure consists of a semi-circular arch spanning 12m over the dry dock
approximately 21m long between opening ends. The arch is made from prefabricated
cardboard elements and clad in poly carbonate sheeting. An aluminium tube
provides support over cantilevering arches and as bracing. |
