Surface Science Research Group
Research
interests are focussed on investigating the physicochemical properties
which govern inter-particulate adhesion, issues relating to the surface
stability of processed particles and the general areas of particle technology
and crystal growth.
Specific
interests include:
- Particulate
interactions in dry powder inhalation (DPI) formulations and suspension
based pressurised metered dose inhaler (pMDI) formulations. [Further
Information]
- Development,
processing and optimisation of formulations for inhalation systems.
- Development
of novel particle engineering and processing techniques for specific
pharmaceutical applications. [Further
Information]
- Surface
energetic and surface stability properties of active pharmaceutical
ingredients.
