Welcome
I joined the University of Bath as a Lecturer in Statistics in December 2019. Prior to this appointment, I held an AXA Research Fund postdoctoral grant and an EPSRC Doctoral Prize at Lancaster University. I am also a committee member of the Environmental Statistics Section of the Royal Statistical Society. My research considers the statistical analysis of environmental and financial data, and the development of methodology in extreme value analysis, spatial statistics and nonparametric regression. I graduated from the Ruprecht-Karls University Heidelberg with a Diplom (M.Sc. equivalent) in Mathematics with direction in Scientific Computing. I did my PhD in Statistics and Opererational Research at the STOR-i Centre for Doctoral Training at Lancaster Lancaster University from 2013 to 2016.
