Aikido

I started to practice Aikido a few years ago in France, and when I moved to England, I looked for some dojos where I could keep on training. Here are some of the sites I have found where you can find lots of information about Aikido:

Aikido in the United Kingdom

Aikido in France Info

Aikido on line

British Aikido Federation

Lists of clubs of Aikido around the World on an FTP Server

List of clubs of Aikido in Europe

Bath Aikido Society

Tennis

Even if I played tennis a little some years ago, I prefer to watch it on TV. You can access the ATP Tour Championship Servers by clicking on the country they are played in:

Australian Open Wimbledon Roland-Garros US Open

Archery

In September 1997 I enrolled in the club of Archery in the University of Bath and I looked for some information about this sport on the net. Here are some of the links I found:

Baseball

I was fortunate to be able to watch the World Series in 1993 in France on cable and I became a fan of the game then. Later on, it was removed from the television programs and it was only after I got a job in England that I was able to watch baseball regularly on Five (ex Channel 5), this is only available on ESPN America. One year I decided to keep up-to-date on the results of the games, so I created an Excel file with macros where I could  enter the results of the games daily and and look at the American and National leagues standings and the Wildcards race. You have the possibility to see the complete  season 2004. The most recent version (v10.2) of the file MLB Standings (installation file for the Excel document, some graphics and the Help file) is available here with the 2019 season schedule (Release Notes of 10/03/19).

Peter Ellyin asked to create the same type of document for the NBA Standings. You can click here to download the installation file containing the Excel 2003 document, Help file and the team logos (Release Notes of 15/12/17).

I have also taken an interest in scoring a baseball game. I started to create an Excel file in which you could prepare your score sheets, modify the teams rosters depending on the transactions of the teams. However I gave up as there are apparently much better on the net and I bought a software to score games. Here is an example of a score sheet I created with my Excel document for Randy Johnson's Perfect Game.
