Researcher in Laboratoires des Sciences du Génie Chimique at E.N.S.I.C. Subject: Modeling the magnetic properties of sintered ferrites and composite materials based on ferrites for the absorption of electromagnetic waves (Ph.D.) (more details).

In this work, the evolution of magnetic permeability in function of frequency was determined for sintered ferrites and composite materials. For that, some existing models were considered and improved to interpret experimental data. Then, mixing laws were used to interpret the magnetic permeability measurements of composites and to find the particles geometry in the composites. A model combining the frequency dependence and one of these mixing laws was developed to reduced the calculation time and the number of parameters in our model.

Subject: Optimal control of an electrochemical reactor (DEA).

The aim of this work was to model the process control of an electrochemical batch reactor in order to reduce the dissipated power or increase the selectivity of an intermediate product in the reactions A->B->C.
