Research

I am a member of Bath's analysis group. My main interests are the theory of partial differential equations, the calculus of variations, and geometric analysis. The topics of current and recent research projects include:

• variational problems in L^∞,
• variational problems arising in materials science (especially micromagnetics),
• harmonic and biharmonic maps between Riemannian manifolds,
• the inverse mean curvature flow of submanifolds of a Riemannian manifold.

Teaching

In the current academic year (2025/6), I teach Analysis 1A in semester 1 and Analysis in Hilbert Spaces in semester 2. Course materials can be found on Moodle.
