Simulation of multilayer devices and circuits using TCAD

Aim: To enable efficient device scale modelling of OLED structures using material parameters from microscopic multiscale computations. In this example, Silvaco TCAD will be presented and the drift diffusion simulations of the OLED stack based on microscopic parameters are demonstrated. Few design space parameters will be explored to illustrate how to apply efficient stack simulations for the virtual pre-screening of device setups.

Method: Show how the use of automation tools for split lot investigations can maximise the outcoupling of device luminous power.
