The brief for this BArch module for students on the RIBA Part II acredited architecture
course was to design a film school for a site adjacent to the Spitalfields markets, London.
The students responded to a detailed and demanding brief, and a heavily constrained site, as well as the requirement
that the building should be responsive to the urban terrain - that the city should become part
of the architectural experience of the institution. |
My Role : |
 |
- Give an inspirational lecture to the students to help kick-start the module
- Provide engineering input on the structural viability of the proposed schemes
- Prepare the students, through workshops, for their Technical Substantiation review
