| The brief for this second year module for students on the architecture
degree was to create a geodesic dome that would form a reading-space within an exhibition at the
Arnolfini Art Gallery, Bristol, of art from Black Mountain college where Buckminster Fuller taught. |
My Role : |

- Give an inspirational lecture to all the University’s architectural students to help kick-start the module
- Provide help with generating the setting-out geometry for various geodesic solutions
- Give advice on the merits of the students’ proposed solutions from a structural engineering and construction point of view
