3D Weather Graphs

Hello!

Select a location below to see its weather data in 3D. Rotate the graphs using arrow keys, Shift, and Ctrl. Zoom in and out using “+” and “-”. You can also change the scale in x, y, and z axis – try different values. The background can be set between black (0) and white (255).

Graphs represent the entire year with x axis being the days, with small gaps between new months, and y axis is the time of the day – showing the 24h cycle. Z axis is used to depict the meteorology values along with colour scale, where blue is minimum and red is maximum.

Data presented from the top – temperature, relative humidity, vertical solar radiation, wind speed, and precipitable water (rainfall). Some weather files might be missing precipitable water or solar radiation data, that’s due to individual meteorology institutes not registering that data types.

Feel free to download the source code and get graphs for any desired location. Enjoy :)
