As part of an EPSRC funded Partnerships for Public Engagement project I have developed a talk entitled "How To Build An Olympic Stadium". Also suitable for Year 11 & 12 students of Maths,
this talk uses the construction of the Olympic Park in London as an example of how the mathematics used in the classroom and beyond can be applied to the real world.
