Role
I am passionate about creating
digital experiences that are accessible, engaging, and relevant for all
learners. As an instructional designer and educator, I strive to build
materials and online spaces that meet diverse needs and promote meaningful
learning for every student.
My approach is learner-centred. I
start by understanding learners' backgrounds, skills, interests, and goals.
Then I employ evidence-based practices in instructional design, user
experience, and universal design for learning to develop flexible digital resources
that provide clear direction, spark curiosity, and empower autonomous
exploration.
Collaboration is key. I regularly
connect with instructors, technologists, and learners themselves to develop and
design solutions that work for real people in authentic contexts. Their
insights help me iterate and improve while ensuring accessibility for learners
of all abilities.
Whether it's through self-access
resources, personalised learning paths, or virtual communities of inquiry, my
aim is to create inclusive digital environments where all students can engage
with course material in ways that resonate with their learning preferences. I
find technology to be a powerful tool for widening access to high-quality
learning experiences that help every student reach their potential.
