The ask-admissions email address and RT queue

This page deals solely with the ask-admissions email address and the corresponding RT queue adm-ask.

note: unil we go live with RT for admissions, tickets in the adm-ask queue can be created by emailing to adm-ask@rt.bath.ac.uk

1. Process

Applicants who use one of these current email addresses:

admissions@bath
gradoffice@bath
internationaloffice@bath

will be sent an autoreply that is generated by RT. The autoreply will say something like:

Thank you for your interest in the University of Bath. To help us answer your enquiry more effectively, please use the ask-admissions web form to submit your query. If you do not have access to the web form, please email us at ask-admissions@bath.ac.uk. Bath receives a very large number of enquiries every week, so please bear with us while we work through your questions. Do try to find the information you need on our web site or in our prospectus. Meanwhile, thank you again for contacting us.

Best wishes from admissions@bath.

The applicant can now either use the web form to post their question, or use the email address: ask-admissions@bath.ac.uk.

All emails sent to ask-admissions@bath.ac.uk will be automatically forwarded into the RT queue called adm-ask.

Two new email lists will deal with enquiries that do not related to admissions, from current International students and current Graduate students. These email addresses have no link with the RT system. The new email addresses are:

internationalstudents@bath.ac.uk
postgraduates@bath.ac.uk
