In general, you should mention the magic words `Summer School at TU Dresden´ in order to have the prices shown below applied. All suggested places are conveniently connected by public transportation to the summer school and workshop venue.

It is tricky to find accommodations in Dresden at this time of the year, please reserve very well in advance. Except where indicated, availability of rooms in the following places is just a few units. You can use this map of Dresden. You might want to look at the list of participants. Buses and trams run frequently. There are ticket machines at most bus/tram stations. Use the input button `Erwachsener´ for adult tickets. In general, ticket machines give change, also for bills of 5, 10 or 20 EUR.

You have to stamp your ticket after entering the first bus/tram.

`Einzelfahrt Preisstufe 1´ (1.50 EUR).
This ticket is also available at the bus driver and at machines located at the end of the first carriage in trams. It is valid on all buses, trams and suburban trains for one hour.

`4er Karte Preisstufe 1-4´ (5.80 EUR).
This ticket consists of four tickets `Einzelfahrt Preisstufe 1´.

`Tageskarte´ (4 EUR)
This ticket allows you to use any bus, tram and suburban train inside Dresden for one day.

`Wochenkarte Preisstufe A1´ (14.00 EUR)
This ticket allows you to use any bus, tram or suburban train inside Dresden for one week.
