Minibus from the city to the campus
A minibus has been arranged to bring speakers to campus every morning. The minibus will leave at 8:30am (sharp) from Ayrlington Hotel and will stop at the main bus stop on campus (which is very close to the Chancellor's building).
If you are not a speaker and would like to use the minibus to come to campus, that is completely fine, but please send an email to the organizer so that we can assure there will be enough seats on the bus.

Other commuting options
To commute between the city center and the university, use bus lines 18 or 18U (they are essentially identical). You can purchase the ticket directly on the bus. The buses 18 and 18U belong to different companies; if you purchase a multiple-journey ticket in one bus line, you will not be able to use this ticket in the other bus line.
You can also call a taxi on 01225 444 444.
Walking from the city center to the university is possible, but it includes a long and steep hill and takes around 45min. The other direction (from the university to the city center) is a rather pleasant and scenic walk when the weather is nice.
