The funny thing is that nobody ever really has a problem with the clock issue - we're just complicating things! (Although I appreciate for some presenters, keeping an eye on the clock is not easy.) I have a few trickys up my sleeve, that may get an airing in ISB, with the right people around to help. These should make things quite handy.
i have some software on my computer that expands the system tray clock so it shows seconds (and even the date). It is pretty accurate when used alongside time sync software. Install it on red and blue and bobs your uncle.

PS - If anyone actually has an uncle called Bob I would like to hear from you!

I have an uncle Robert, I'll have you know.

Is anyone else bored of clocks now? I tried to shut this one down many posts back!

sorry - but im trying to improve my message board statistics (I have a long way to go).

A cuckoo clock would be good though.
Hmm, visions of a cuckoo clock with a little head that pops out every hour to read the news...

dont bother. I am fed up of stupid forum posting just to get posts. I have now decided the only reason I post is if I have somthing interesting/progressive to contribute to the discussion...
That is the most sensible thing I have seen on this message board since before Christmas, ie since before the message board exploded with over use.

I always have done.... despite apparently having the most posts they don't really bother me at all!

now broadcasting live across the cuckoo, your essential cuckoo fix, 1449 cuckoo URB news. Its ten o'clock, im David cuckoo...
and next up we have 'I'm a cuckoo' by Belle and Sebastian.

(give it a listen, i like that song)
Oo - we've been hijhacked by the music department! Still, it is an awesome track! I very nearly bought it on vinyl last night. Remember, Mohair single pack still £5 with free postage and packing! Everyone must own one!
Could we 'rig' the clock to go off at 11 seconds too then if its placed in a correct position then you will certainly know when to go for the news!
Go off? Wouldn't that smell...

I tend to work on the fact that it is a nice quiet clock, that doesn't kick up a fuss - and this is the way it should stay. If you want bells and whistles aty 11 seconds to, get someone to do the honours for you, perhaps. A time watcher member of the sports team might come in handy as a runner between hours too..

You have so many news o'clocks in your show, I'd have thought you'd be doing it by instinct now...
Well, not really, at each of the o'clocks except 1st and last 4 billion and one things are happening.

What is this an attempt to get as many people on the sports show team as possible? Theres already 3 full time members and 3 part timers!
I bet you could win awards for social inclusion, if nothing else! The sports show is not far off being its own soceity!
you'd better not be missing the news David, the web tuner goes crazy if you do that!

Quoted From: Rhiannon Moore...I much prefer hands to numbers.

How were we so innocent in these days, that nobody thought it relevant to comment on Rhainnon's intriguing technique on a night out...
A good point, and even more oddly there's now a digital clock.... amazing thing progress.
Did we actually bin those clocks, or should they still be around somewhere?
I havn't seen them...
