As 2015 comes to a close and we start reminiscing about our favourite hits of the year, it's also that time of year to reveal the Grammy Award nominations. The year 2014-2015 has certainly seen Taylor Swift popping up all over the place, and it's been reflected in her 7 Grammy nominations, including Blank Space for Song of the Year, and 1989 for Album of the Year.

But it's Kendrick Lamar with a whopping 11 nominations including Best Album and Best Rap Album for 'To Pimp a Butterfly'.

Nominees include URB-bae James Bay with 3 nominations including Best New Artist, where he'll be battling it out against Meghan Trainor and Tori Kelly. Apparently 'Hold Back the River' is a rock song too, because he has a nod for that. Other Brits flying the flag are Muse, Florence + The Machine, Ed Sheeran and Wolf Alice.

Did you also know there is a category for Best Improvised Jazz Solo too? Awesome!

In case you're wondering, Adele's 25 was released too late in the year to be eligible. But don't worry, there's always 2017...

Will T-Swift have too many to carry again?
