Festival Radar: 2000Trees

URB heads to the rolling Cotswold Hills for 2000Trees for the ultimate festival for underground music.

We're ready for 2000Trees!

In the heart of the Cotswold Hills, 2000trees will entertain a 5000 capacity strong crowd of underground and emerging music enthusiasts. The intimate atmosphere, essentially in the middle of a forest, hence the name, give a feeling that no mainstream festival can boast.

The festival is looking to give underground and breakthrough artists a way of getting their sound across in an idyllic location, and in 2015 will be hosting large names such as Nothing But Thieves, Young Guns, We Are Ocean, The Subways, as well as Bath’s home grown Bite the Buffalo.

One part of this festival which really does give it something that nothing else can boast, is the acoustic sets they will host, whereby you get a real feel of what the artists are really like, without the hustle and bustle of iron fences and high-vis vests.

University Radio Bath will be at the festival as it runs from 9-11th July, so don't forget to follow us on Twitter for updates over the weekend (@UniRadioBath). We'll be interviewing a whole host of bands including Nothing But Thieves, The Subways, Roam and many more. Stay tuned, there's a LOT coming your way soon!
