Since launching in Nottingham back in 2005, Dot To Dot has become established as the go-to festival for discovering the freshest new talent from across the globe, as well as bringing us the big names we know and love. It was even the festival that put the likes of Jake Bugg, Mumford & Sons and Florence & The Machine on the map!

This year, Dot to Dot is coming back to Bristol on Saturday May 28th, bringing its incredible acts to some of the city's best venues, including The Fleece, Exchange, Thekla and more!

Alongside it's co-headliners Mystery Jets and Augustines, the line up is filled with so many exciting, emerging artists from Bristol and beyond. So to make your job of deciding who to check out a little easier, here are some of our ones to watch at Dot To Dot 2016...

Dua Lipa

The pop singer has had an explosive first half of the year, her single 'Be the One' released at the back end of 2015 has done incredibly. The single gained her a large following, definitely making her one to watch. URB's Jamie Lee caught her live in the flesh at a show in January and assured us that that the best is still yet to come. Dua Lipa is definitely not an act to miss!

Rat Boy

Rat Boy is another act who has had an excellent start to the year. His charged lyrics mixed and great song writing leads to quality tracks, and he's bound to create amazing atmospheres at all of his live shows. We can't wait to see what he has in store for Dot To Dot!

Sundara Karma

Known for their high tempo indie-rock music, Sundara Karma have had a great twelve months, releasing a couple EPs in a run up to an album for later this year. They've also performed with the likes of Wolf Alice and Circa Waves! They're bound to follow in their footsteps as the four piece are building a strong following.

Blaenavon

The band from Hampshire are new on the scene and will just have finished their headline tour before Dot-to-Dot. They made a huge impression at this year’s SXSW event in Texas, by being named one of biggest winners of the festival by Esquire.

And finally, but by no means least... The Temper Trap!

The amazing band The Temper Trap will be one of the biggest names on the bill at this year’s Dot-to-Dot festival. The wholesome sounds on ‘Sweet Disposition’, the band’s most well-known song, is an anthem for all music lovers and is sure to go down phenomenally in Bristol this summer!

If you miss this, you're missing out...

Does seeing this lot live in the flesh sound like your kind of thing? Well luckily for you, tickets are still available to Dot To Dot in Bristol at only £25 over here - we'll see you there!
