Last Wednesday, Brighton based band High Tyde came to The Exchange on their headline UK tour. The band have previously played Moles and visited URB, their signature is up on the VIP wall. Recently, they have gained a lot of support across the country and been fortunate enough to get on the BBC Introducing circuit, last month they released a new EP titled ‘Real’.
Before the show, we got a chance to meet chat to Louis, High Tyde’s drummer, and spoke about how things were going for the band and asked him about how High Tyde have taken fan involvement to the next level. Listen below
The gig itself was great apart from a minor technical hiccup at the start, The Exchange worked as a good venue for them since it was almost at full capacity. Lots of people were dancing, moshing and a couple crowd surfers too. High Tyde have stepped up a gear since they played at Moles in April, and their sets have improved with the addition of a few new songs after the release of the ‘Real’ EP.
