MusicSoc exists to promote music at the University and in the local area. Jazz, electro, metal, dubstep, dance, drum n bass, indie, country, blues.... its all good!!

Through events like our club nights, socials and live music nights, you can discover new music and meet other members. On top of this, we'll make sure you know about the best events and opportunities available in and around Bath.

There are almost no spaces left with ICIA tutors, but don't despair! You can find good, affordable tuition from one of our many very talented members. Just join up and search through our Tuition List
Practice Rooms and Live Music
We run live music nights with slots for our own bands and jam sessions for those wanting to form bands.
We offer a fully equipped practice room as well - with a full line-up of amps, drums and more - for those struggling to find somewhere to hold band or solo practice.

We run club nights, clubbing trips to London and our members get discounts on some of the biggest student nights in Bath including:

Music Magazine
There will be opportunities to get involved with a new online music magazine, where anyone can create a profile and write articles relating to any artist/genre they like.
Our Events
The nights we organise include: club kids playground - our very own club night, the infamous Battle of the Bands - offering great prizes for the winner and the opportunity to test yourself against the best bands the uni has to offer, monthly MusicSoc LIVE! band and jam nights, open mic nights, clubbing trips to London, an OXJAM charity gig, music down by the lake in the summer and more!!
