Thor (Week 3 & Revision Week)

Firstly, apologies to everyone at the screening about the picture quality. We'll be informing AV.

*Mild spoilers ahead*

Anyway, how did people find the bits they could watch? I really like this film, I like the interactions Thor has with the folks on Earth: tased, drugged and run over (a couple of times) and him eventually fitting in with them. There's also all the tie-ins with the rest of the Avengers stuff.

As for the ending: dun dun duuuuun!

And AV have now been informed. Obviously it all went wrong because I wasn't there...
Former SciFi IT Officer now taking great pleasure in telling the current committee that they're doing it all wrong and that they should get off my lawn.
You'll mainly find me at Anime, but also at some of the Classic and Contemporary screenings. I'm usually in the student centre before screenings too.

I doubt even your IT Officer powers could have helped us. >.<

This is the first screening of the semester that I either haven't been to or haven't seen before...Thor was always one of the least interesting characters to me back when I read the comics (The Avengers isn't my favourite team, though I loved Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Ms Marvel). I am looking forward to the Avengers movie seeing as it is supposedly being led by Joss Whedon.

This is like.. my favourite movie ever, so was so glad to see it was being shown :D
There are loads of references to the other avengers in the film, and I can't wait for the Avengers to come out next May
- and yes, it will be directed by Joss Whedon.. seriously hoping he will do a good job

Really gutted I've missed this. I saw Captain America over the summer and that got me really wanting to watch the rest of the Avenger-prequel movies that I haven't got round to seeing yet:)

Yes, as you keep telling some of us, remind me how many times you've seen it?

I am glad I was dragged (not literally) along to this by the above member who was upset at the fact I hadn't seen the film and had no clue it existed (mind you I didn't know it existed in comic form either which upset her further!) It was a good film and I enjoyed more than I thought I would!

Thank you GRexCarolinii, now you have to come to see Rocky Horror Picture Show with me!

I tell you what, there's quite a few deleted scenes but they're only available with the blu-ray version. There's a nice one that takes place before the coronation with Thor and Loki banter. :)

That is my favourite scene of the movie (despite it not actually being in the movie)
It's so nice to see them being brothers before Loki becomes.. well, Loki...

and Harvey: I have seen Rocky Horror before.... you will not make me see it again >.>

I still think you should come! If you have seen it once then what is there to fear? (I shan't force you but please do consider!) xP
