Favourite Superhero film?

Postby Pureferret » Sun Feb 13, 2011 6:43 pm

Does anyone have a favourite? I'm pretty enamoured with Spiderman 1, though it seems quite dated now. I can't think of anymore that really stand out, though X-men 2 was pretty good I suppose.

Also, I'm looking forward to the line of Avenger movies that should be coming out soon....

The two recent Batman films were good, and The Incredibles :) Can't really think of any others I'm keen on at all...

I did love the Incredibles... Both new batman films were good, but the first seemed too dark and the other too long (did anyone else feel like it should have stopped....an hour early?)

I wouldn't quite say a whole hour early but yeah I agree it should have finished earlier, by the time the whole boat thing came up it did feel like one setpiece too many...I understand that it's important to the film thematically and whatnot but it did feel like they were trying to put too much stuff into the film...

Yeah, an hour was a semi-random guess. If it was a game I'd have said the last part should have been an expansion pack, but films don't get those (unless you count directors cuts)

I actually really like Daredevil =P

I like Xmen too but it's one of those things where I've seen most of the first 3 films but in bits and bobs and probably missing bits. (Now have a goal for the holidays, to actually watch the damn things start to finish).
