Also poll to see which order people prefer?

I need to send the weekly email out with the order on sometime today...so the order voted on is no way guaranteed, especially if votes are cast after the email is sent.

(The order, as advertised, is currently Lilo and Stitch, THEN Beauty and the Beast.)

I would probably prefer Lilo and Stitch second (because I like it more), but it doesn't matter too much.

What time are we expecting to finish?

Roughly 10.40pm, if there's a short break in between, I reckon.

I'm looking forward to this night myself. I remember seeing Lilo and Stitch ages ago and loving it. Beauty and the Best on the other hand is something that I probably saw as a little kid, but have no memory of whatsoever!
Former SciFi IT Officer now taking great pleasure in telling the current committee that they're doing it all wrong and that they should get off my lawn.
You'll mainly find me at Anime, but also at some of the Classic and Contemporary screenings. I'm usually in the student centre before screenings too.

I love Beauty and the Beast, even though I get a bit teary towards the end and am not inflicting that on anyone for a second week running!

Really excited for Lilo and Stitch though. If it's on second I'll just have to lock myself in the library till 9ish...

I think both are worth watching (if you can make it through them!) and I can't wait to see them tonight!

Yay, Disney, yay!

Lilo and Stitch, always lovely, although I'm sure I remember it being longer than that. Still, adorably cute small child/genetically modified alien-ness and very funny it is too.

I don't actually think that I have seen Beauty and the Beast before, even years and years ago. The beginning was a bit sicky (ooh, look at Belle, isn't she beautiful and wonderful and nice and clever and... bleugh), it picked up after that though. The songs were rather good, which is always a plus point for me. I will say it was a happy ending I don't necessarily agree with, but overall, good times all round.

I don't know, I'd like it to be longer! But I remember it at that length.

How would you have preferred Beauty and the Beast to have ended?

Weeell, it may be a bit Shrek-y, but I reckon I'd prefer it if he didn't change back into a human. I think it was nicer when he was the Beast, and I think he was probably nicer too. And very, very warm.

Yes. Very much yes. I've always disliked the change, it sort of defeats the point of the film....

Also, IMDB supplies a solution for Disney Time Dilation(TM) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101414/faq#.2.1.3

Which is as I suspected.

To be honest, whilst the portrait disagrees I don't see why he couldn't have been ~10-11 when he was transformed, it would explain epic lack of literacy.
