Malfunction!

Sometimes when I click on a link/post it comes up with the html for the page theme.

Anyone know why this happens?

I get a similar occurrence, although I have no idea why. I intend to update the boards when I'm in Bath at the end of August; perhaps this will fix the problem.

Do you use Firefox, by any chance? I only get the error on firefox and they released a new version recently.

That's a good point; it's only a beta too.

This seemed a suitable thread to post this in:

The map links on the calendar are...interesting. For example, 8W1.1 is apparently two places on another continent, which is problematic for travel, especially on a student budget and above the quantum-classical limit.

I think it's meant to be more descriptive than prescriptive...if I've even used then words properly...

Indeed, it just seemed odd to provide 'map' links which didn't actually aid navigation...

Does it just happen automatically, though?

Oh, no, as in:
Go to the calendar
Expand the information for one screening
Click the "(map)" link next to the room reference

This seems to just enter the room reference into Google Maps, which understandably isn't all that helpful - given that just the room reference is searched for (without "University of Bath" or similar), it tries to interpret it as a post/zip code or weird house/street number, and returns interesting but unhelpful results. So long as you don't click the map link you're fine, my point was just that a map should probably help you slightly more than just giving you the locations of places in the world with similar-sounding addresses. :P

It used to work properly, then it broke. Maybe it can be fixed again, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Unfortunately there's not much we can do. I've tried adding 8W1.1 as a location on Google Maps, and if it gets approved then the map link will work properly. We cannot remove the map link in the mean time due to our dependence on Google Calendar for our screenings calendar.

You'll mainly find me at Anime, but also at some of the Classic and Contemporary screenings. I'm usually in the student centre before screenings too.

I used to have it set up using a public custom map,
