Jimmy is secretly a Paladin of Apathy, but can't be bothered to do anything about it.
A castle with an army of loyal soldiers willing to die furthering your evil causes? Good. The same castle able to roll around of its own volition, raining lasery death upon those who oppose you? Much, much better.

The rumour is that Jimmy spends so much time gaming/larping/scifiing and other avoidance activities that his lecturers are taking bets on whether or not he will ever be seen again. In fact one of them has entered his name for the big red book of endangered species!
