There are always internet memes, like "Do Not Want!", "This R my angry face" and, of course, "How are you, gentlemen?" (Which is good because it is a stealth quote.)

"So like a fly, Brundlefly breaks down solids with a corrosive enzyme, playfully called "vomit drop". He regurgitates on his food, it liquifies, and then he sucks it back up. Ready for a demonstration, kids? Here goes..."

Potentially too long for a quote though....

"Why are you reading a shirt?"

"You should laugh at yourself, everyone else is!"

"Even gays love Bishonen!"

I can't think of one for my shirt though :P. Though I do want a general quote, saying, thing, rather than a Sci-Fanme one. Yes I added anime to the name, and yes I then shortened it :P.

I have a difficult choice here, do I get a T-shirt/jumper ro not... if I do the quote needs to be fairly innoquous so I can wear it here, "Death by Shonen-ai" isn't too good when you have a friend who is Japanese and likely won't approve...

In order to get the special order we need over 20 people ordering so I say go for it.

This is a quote from MST3K, and despite the fact I've already ordered my t shirt I might have to go ahead and change the quote, because this is too good:

Oh, who doesn't own an interositer these days?

Oh, minus the first one (probably since I don't get it) all of Cold Fire's are the best. The statistic one I've used a few times, and the walk a mile one I had heard but forgotten and still love.

You've never watched Red Dwarf?! You're missing out, Iain, you really are. Ace Rimmer = actual legend.

Definitely! :D Although how on earth do you begin to choose which episodes to screen?

Keeping it on topic, I'm thinking some sort of Red Dwarf quote may be the way to go, but I've got no idea what to actually choose...

:o Smegging fantastic idea! :D Maybe these can provide some inspiration:
"Time is a great healer. Unless it's a rash, then you're better off with ointment."
"Give that man an eyebrow! Hey, I'm feeling generous — give him two!"
"You're going to go with one of my plans? Are you nuts?"
"Change of plan... LEG IT!"
"Oh, screw down my diodes and call me Frank!"
"Oh, spin my nipple nuts and send me to Alaska!"
...and many, many others...thank you, Wikiquote.

I always liked this one: "I'm so gorgeous, there's a six month waiting list for birds to suddenly appear, every time I am near!"

Then there are of course the Space Corp Directives:
#723: Terraformers are expressly forbidden from recreating Swindon.
#1742: No member of the Corps should ever report for active duty in a ginger toupee.
#997: Work done by an officer's doppleganger in a parallel universe cannot be claimed as overtime.
#34124: No officer with false teeth should attempt oral sex in zero gravity.

The list carries on...

I've gone for "Smoke me a kipper - I'll be back for breakfast!"

The problem with Red Dwarf quotes is that they nearly all involve at least two characters in a conversation, and are too long for a T-shirt quote.

Some alternatives:

"I just want to say that over the years, I have come to regard you as...people I met."

"...and we're going to... live!"

"What's dead and dead and dead all over? Yooouuuu!!"

"I think our only hope's the Potato King..."

"I hate to go all technical on you, but... all hands on deck, swirly thing alert!"

"There's no such thing as an Ionian Nerve Grip. Now stand still while I hit you!"

"This is a job for the Riveria Kid!"

"There's an old Cat saying: "If you're gonna eat tuna, expect bones."
"There's an old human saying: "If you're gonna talk garbage, expect pain.""

"This is the inquisitor. He prunes away the wastrels, expunges the wretched, and deletes the worthless. We are are in big trouble!"
