Joining BUSAC
Bath University Sub Aqua Club (BUSAC) is a Youth branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC). Anyone who joins as an active diving member has to be a member of BSAC (for this their qualifications are accepted around the world). The Club accepts everyone from beginners to experienced and super-fit to physically challenged. BUSAC is about 25 years old and all of the instructors are students or ex-students who run the club in their spare time - for no money! When we're not wet, we also like visiting the local pubs, restaurants and other places of entertainment. There are approximately 50 members comprising undergrads, postgrads, staff and ex-students.
We are a registered Special Branch of the BSAC and as such can only have members who are currently studying at the University of Bath. If you are currently and undergraduate of postgraduate follow the links below for me information on joining.
New Divers
If you have not dived or received training before, then join as a new diver.
Qualified Divers
If you have dived before and have an existing dive qualification then join as a qualified diver.
If you have any questions at all about joining the club, contact a member of the committee either by email or talk to them at the fresher’s sports fair at the start of the year.
