Introduction

The Lightmaster XLS by Zero88 is one of BTS's flightcased lighting desks. The XLS, as it is commonly known, is a 24 channel two preset lighting desk with DMX and analogue outputs. The XLS has 9 pages of programmable memories which contain 24 memories each with an integrated back-up unit. The XLS can run up to two chases concurrently which have variable step time and in the case of the sound to light chase can be steped in time with various frequencies.

Things you need to look out for

Please remember to check your DMX patch and also that to program a chase you must hit preview first - otherwise nothing happens. The XLS outputs DMX on a five pin connector.
