I am working on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project between the University of Bath and Seiche Limited, and sponsored by Innovate UK. The objective of the 20 month project is to develop an acoustic tomography system for detecting cetaceans affected by seismic airgun surveys. It is in collaboration with Dr. Philippe Blondel, Prof. Manuchehr Soleimani and former KTP associate Nikhil Banda.
I finished my PhD with the Department of Mathematical Sciences in 2016 titled "Adaptive mesh methods for numerical weather prediction", funded as an EPSRC CASE Award with the Met Office. This work was a continuation of work done by Dr. Emily Walsh for her PhD. My supervisor in Bath was Prof. Chris Budd and my Met Office Supervisor was Dr. Thomas Melvin.
For the 2010-11 Academic year I did an MSc in Modern Applications of Mathematics at the University of Bath. My summer project was titled "Error analysis in electrical impedance tomography imaging" supervised by Prof. Chris Budd and Prof. Manuchehr Soleimani. Prior to that I completed my BSc in Mathematics at the University of Plymouth.
In the past I have tutored the following second year undergraduate courses:
