My main interests are the theory of partial differential equations (PDEs) and the
calculus of variations. Most of the problems that I study are coming from
questions in differential geometry or materials science, and sometimes both.
This includes the following topics:
harmonic and biharmonic maps,
curvature functionals and curvature flows,
singular structures in materials (from a variational or PDE point of view).
