Interested in applying state-of-the-art computer simulation methods to tackle cutting-edge problems in the physics of complex fluids such as colloids and polymers? Life in Bath

As many will testify, the magnificant world heritage city of Bath is a vibrant and friendly place to live with plenty to offer in terms of culture, history, night-life, architecture and sport. It also has ready access to some of Britain's most scenic countryside (eg. The Cotswolds, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, South Wales). Here are some scenes:


Some 15000 students are enrolled at the University. Over 4000 are postgraduates. The campus is set in attractive grounds on the edge of the city.

Begun in 1499. Edgar, the first King of all England, was crowned on this site.

Built on the only hot springs in the UK.
