Facilities

The experimental facilities of the group include systems for optically-detected magnetic resonance, coherent heterodyne-detected Raman, spin-flip Raman, modulated reflectivity and photoluminescence spectroscopies, including a high-resolution, triple grating spectrometer equipped with both  CCD and photomultiplier detectors and a UV Raman microscope. In addition, several CW laser sources are available, including visible, HeCd, UV argon ion and frequency-doubled argon ion lasers, Ti-sapphire lasers and ring and standing-wave dye lasers covering the wavelength range from 400nm to 900nm  with UV excitation at 244nm, 325nm and 350-360nm.
