Stephen R Allen
MEng (Hons)Department:
Mechanical EngineeringJob title:
Research Officer and PhD candidate, 'Micro-generation for UK households: Thermodynamic and related analyses'Research interests:
I am part of a research team at the University of Bath carrying out technology assessments of small-scale energy supply technologies, such as micro-wind turbines, solar thermal, solar photovoltaic and combined heat & power (CHP) systems. This work forms part of the SUPERGEN (Sustainable Power Generation and Supply) consortium research on 'Highly Distributed Power Systems'. SUPERGEN is a multidisciplinary initiative, managed and led by the UK's Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), in partnership with BBSRC, ESRC, NERC and the Carbon Trust. You can view my ResearcherID webpage here. (ResearcherID is an online research community that assigns each author a unique index to enable accurate author identification for publications.)
