what
What will be the outcome of all this computing? We now have computers
in many homes, and net access seems common from many of my American
friends, but has this increased happiness?
The pressures on everyone who has a job, and the idleness of those by
whom the price, well worth it, has been paid, suggest to me that this
process is not conducive to the general good, and computers should be
returned to that which they do so well, factorising integers and
predicting gravity waves.
