The motto of IBM (International Bugginess Machines as an Italian once mis-addressed a parcel) had as their motto Think!, and this was also the title of the unauthorised biography of Thomas J. Watson, the founder and inspiration for the company. The official biography was called The Lengthening Shadow, and I read these two books one after the other when I was a research student. Despite the bad journalistic style if Think! it was a fascinating read; the hypocracy with regard to business ethics (a classical oxymoron) was staggering to an impressionable youth.

So, as one used to tell students, Think, or Thwim.
