Which may be a good reason for having Many Sequencers, not One.
I want to do notation, so for me a good notation view is just
about the most important thing. I just want to play it well too.
Of course, Rich has more or less the opposite view, which may be
why we struggle so much with the Rosegarden design (even though
we do both have the feeling we should end up with something
better by taking both into account).

Rubbish. Score is a performance and comprehension display as
well. I want to make a good quality notation editor, but I
don't have an enormous interest in making it a great typesetter.
There are other programs for that (of which Lilypond is obviously
the zillion-ton gorilla).
