I have always wanted to live in a just society, one like the vision of
the 1945 Labour Government (not that of the current holders of the
name Labour
Party) and other people from whom my personal world-view is
endebted. We have suffered too long from "leaders" whose instincts
are for domination and dictatorship, the wanabee Fascists.
There is not much an individual can do in the face of power and money;
I take great comfort from the anglo-saxon poem Beowolf. It shows what
the Just can do to hold back the powers of darkness.
