Being in is one of the major sub-goals of croquet. Although many people only know this game from echoes of vicarage tea parties, or Charles Dobson's story apparently for children, it was one of the main relaxations during the examination term when I was an undergraduate.
Later when I was studying computing as a postgraduate my supervisor was English Men's Champion, and was certainly better at the game than as a teacher of computing. He is now a sucessful barrister.
