2 Sets of Utilities: Time-Domain & Spectral Domain

  1. CDP-UTIL-1 – This first set of utilities deals with time-domain functions, i.e., dealing with or gathering information about soundfiles, creating and manipulating envelopes, mixing soundfiles, and creating test signals. A very broad range of envelope manipulations form a major part of this package.
  2. PC Win9x & above systems also receive BRKEDIT (graphic breakpoint editor, with linear and exponential segment shapes, scaling to soundfile length, special scrolling display, and audition facilities.) and VIEWSF (multi-document, multi-channel soundfile display, with zoom to single sample level).
  3. CDP-UTIL-2 – This second set of utilities deals with spectral-domain functions, i.e., handling spectral analysis data: analysis and resynthesis (based on the CARL Phase Vocoder), gathering information about analysis data, and various editing functions.
