The key people behind the scenes at CDP include:
- Archer Endrich
- Archer is CDP's Administrator & Coordinator ; an active composer, he also handles writing and editing the CDP Reference and Tutorial documentation. He is the first port of call for enquiries about the musical use of the software.
- Richard Dobson
- Richard took over the difficult task of core software system maintenance & development after the brilliant originator of the CDP soundfiling system, Martin Atkins, set up his own software company. Richard deals with the low-level technical issues arising from the software. A flute maker, player and teacher as well as an author, Richard brings considerable expertise and musical understanding to his role.
- Trevor Wishart
- Trevor is an internationally known composer who initiated CDP's entry into programming for manipulating spectral analysis data after a period working at IRCAM in Paris. Over the years, he has gradually become the main programmer of CDP's innovative sound transformation software. As the author of the Sound Loom, he is the person to contact regarding this graphic user interface.
- Richard Orton
- Founder of the Electronic Music Studio at the University of York and how retired, Richard is the author of Tabula Vigilans, software for algorithmic composition which also acts as a real-time interactive musical instrument. He is continuing to develop this software and respond to user's queries and suggestions.
- Robert Fraser
- Author of the Soundshaper GUI, Robert is quick off the mark in dealing with queries and reports about this interface. His company, Ensemble Software, is also developing some original software to work with rhythms in innovative ways.
