The UK IMO 2006 squad consists of a group (of variable size) of young people who are strong contenders for places in the forthcoming International Mathematical Olympiad in Ljubljana, Slovenia in July 2006. The UK IMO squad page for 2005 is still available.
The squad mailing list is accessible only to current squad members, designated trainers and UKMT administrators.
The UK team leader is Dr Geoff Smith of the University of Bath, and the deputy leader is Dr Ceri Fiddes of Millfield School.
It is the beginning of the year, and new squad members (and indolent old ones) are invited to have a go at previous Christmas Assesment Exercises, the only annually updated scientific tool to assist Christmas managers to monitor and control the quality of guests.
