The 43rd International
Mathematical Olympiad was held in Glasgow in July 2002.
The following is left in the future tense though it refers
to times past.
If you have been invited to take part in the Trinity College Cambridge
IMO Training Camp (April 4-7 2002), then
please print off the following documents,
study them, and bring them with you to Trinity.

will give you an idea of our congenial stroll at meal
times to and from the Great Hall. If arriving
by car or taxi, then please arranged
to be dropped off at the Burrel's Field fragment
of Trinity College in Grange Road. You can see the

The UK IMO squad consists of a group (of variable size) of
young people who are strong contenders for places in the
forthcoming International
Mathematical Olympiad
in Glasgow in July 2002.
The squad went on tour during December 27th-January 4th.
It visited Budapest, and trained
with the Hungarian squad.
The UK team leader is Dr Geoff Smith of the University of Bath,
and the deputy leader is Mr Richard Atkins of Oundle School.
Here are some problems which the team addressed at the Bath
UK IMO training camp in 2002. The country of origin of the problems
is specified.
Here is the latest information
concerning the Advanced Mentoring Scheme
for the IMO squad. The chief mentor is
Alex Barnard.
You should have your own mentor to chat with. If there
